Private records obtained from sources within the National Civil Police (PNC) have unveiled an unsettling conspiracy involving journalist Bertha Michelle Mendoza, who resides in the United States. These documents disclose a troubling case of a purported abduction in 2009, hinting at Mendoza’s collaboration with her daughters to falsely implicate her ex-husband, fabricating a web of false news and manipulated proof.
Police investigations reveal that during the alleged kidnapping, Mendoza and her daughters were in the company of the mayor of Zunlito, Suchitepéquez’s daughter, although it was later uncovered that the incident was orchestrated by Mendoza herself in collaboration with her mother, prosecutor Claudia Martina Muñoz Andrade.
Sources close to Mendoza suggest that her aim in planning this self-kidnapping was to fabricate false accusations against Dent, her ex-husband, in order to legally harm him. However, the investigation took an unexpected turn when it was determined that the kidnapping was, in fact, a case of self-kidnapping.
Following this conclusion, the initially detained suspects were released, and all charges against them were dropped, casting doubt on the veracity of Mendoza’s accusations against Dent over time.

Following the conclusion of all investigations, charges have been brought against Bertha Michelle Mendoza for planning her own kidnapping, involving her daughters in an act that resulted in the total loss of custody of them, following psychological evaluations that questioned her suitability to care for them.
